All at Blackpool Cricket Club congratulate local cricket stalwart Bryan Moore on his 100th birthday this week.
As first team captain at Blackpool CC during 1954-56, Bryan captained the late great Australian all-rounder Bill Alley during the Australian's spell at Stanley Park. Under Bryan's charge, Blackpool won back-to-back Northern League titles in 1954 and 1955.
Bryan continued as second team captain for seven years during the 60's. He later became a senior qualified coach delivering expert training to coaches throughout England whilst never forgetting BCC where he coached a number of former local players.
The club send their warmest wishes to one of their most respected former players, coach and good friend.
