Function Rooms

Blackpool Cricket Club is a popular destination and an ideal venue for celebrations, weddings and social functions. The club is 5 mins from the motorway and 2 mins from the town centre and offers free car parking.

Funeral wakes are normally facilitated within the main clubhouse during the daytime (Mon-Fri). A ramp access to the main clubhouse is available for disabled visitors (no disabled access is available to the first floor).

The Ashworth Function Room and Kennedy Bar are situated on the first floor above the main clubhouse lounge overlooking the cricket ground and are an ideal setting for your private function, training or business meeting.

Ashworth Function Room

The Ashworth Room accommodates up to 70 people theatre style; 50 table seated; 36 board room style. The room is equipped with a dance floor area and flat-screen tv for slide-show and presentation purposes.

Kennedy Bar

The Kennedy Bar is a smaller area containing a fully equipped bar, balcony and seating for approximately 20 - 30. A flat screen tv is also installed. A double door connects to the Ashworth Room.

Both areas can be hired individually for meetings or combined together for a larger function (100 max). Combined, it is a spacious area with doors leading to a large balcony overlooking the ground.

Ladies and Gents toilets are available on this floor level.

Committee Room

Situated on the first floor, the Committee Room is ideal for meetings and training sessions up to 20 people. It is equipped with chairs and table/s together with a flat screen tv for slide-show and presentation purposes. WiFi is also available.

All organisers MUST fully complete a BOOKING FORM and pay Room Hire Charge and Security Depost to confirm a booking.

Bookings for children’s parties, 18th and 21st birthday celebrations, baby showers, hen and stag nights are not accepted. Christening celebrations are permitted subject to health and safety requirements (push chairs/prams etc)
A refundable security deposit of £50 is requested at the time of booking. Any damage incurred will be the financial liability of the person booking the facilities. Applicants will be invoiced for repair or replacement as appropriate.
The consumption of any alcoholic/non alcoholic drinks not purchased on the premises must be agreed prior to your event. An additional change will be levied.
Third party contractors e.g. Discos/Entertainers/Bands etc. must liaise with the club prior to the evening and indemnify the club in respect of any damage to persons, equipment or premises. Public Liability Insurance is required.
The Clubs’ Executive Committee reserve the right to terminate any hire agreement up to 1 week before the period of hire. A full refund will be paid to the applicant. Prices, terms and conditions may be subject to change by the club.
ALL Parties may be subject to further conditions imposed by the Executive Committee.
IF self-catering, please note, NO KITCHEN FACILITIES, crockery, utensils or table cloths are available for use.
